Where's OUR guy?

I refuse to accept the view that mankind is so tragically bound to the starless midnight of racism and war that the bright daybreak of peace and brotherhood can never become reality. I believe that unarmed truth and unconditional love will have the final word. A nation or civilization that continues to produce soft-minded men purchases its own spiritual death on an installment plan. Freedom is never voluntarily given by the oppressor; it must be demanded by the oppressed. Man was born into barbarism when killing his fellow man was a normal condition of existence. He became endowed with a conscience. And he has now reached the day when violence toward another human being must become as abhorrent as eating another's flesh.
