tidbits

Good morning, all... Last night's solo conference was Bush's 12th since his presidency began. Jimmy Carter, George HW Bush and Bill Clinton had conducted well over 40 of these by their fourth year in office. He looks so shiny and confused in all of the press shots thus far. It appears that now, the White House is finally going to turn to the UN for help, the UN they've been trash-talking since 9-11. Apparently, Kofi Annan's special representative Lakhdar Brahimi is supposed to be the beacon of hope in Iraq, just like he was in Afghanistan. I hope it all goes down before election time.
