Nancy Reagan was right.

A bit of liveblogging, yo:

Jeff Sessions-R Arkansas Too much GOP asslicking. No substance. Not worth blogging. Son of immigrants! Princeton! Yale! Partial birth abortion?! Patrick Leahy-D Vermont Security and liberty are not mutually exclusive values in America. Ted Kennedy-D Massachusetts He never disclosed his view of major constitutional issues. His evasiveness is unacceptable. Dick Durbin-D Illinois Missed him. Busy working. John Cornyn-DOUCHEBAG Texas Did he just predict a future Supreme Court vacancy during Bush's Presidency? Yowsa! He's on the Jeff Sessions trip, talking about "traditional marriage," and how some Democrats want to abolish the Pledge of Allegiance. (I miss having Patty Murray and Maria Cantwell as my Senators from Washington; Cornyn's just embarrassing.) He just stumbled and called Sloppy Seconds Sammy "Scalito" again. George Allen-R Virginia He just asked the Democrats to "make his day," and threatened to "pull the constitutional trigger." What a dick! He's got that Can-I-ash-on-your-hand-because-the-ashtray-is-dirty look to him when he's bloviating on the floor. Does he really think the Democrats wont turn around one day (when they're back in power) and use the so-called Nuclear Option on the Republicans? Um...Did he just say "Sorry Decisis"?!? I think he's confusing President with precedent. Allen4Prez? Hardly. Mel Martinez-R Florida Worthless. Not my kinda Latino...If you know what I mean.

I'm stopping for now. I need water, some music, and a break.
